"I provide a safe, confidential and empathic space, where together we can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences."
I am a qualified BACP-registered psychodynamic counsellor in the Brighton and Hove area, with experience of working sensitively with many of the issues that can cause distress. I will offer you the space to be heard in a confidential, safe and empathic way and gently encourage exploration of both present and past experiences at your own pace. Through working together to make meaning of your experiences, it is possible to let go of coping mechanisms that no longer serve you and to make lasting change.

I will support you in a compassionate non-judgemental way to help you make the changes you want in your life. Depending on what brings you to counselling, I offer open-ended or shorter-term therapy. This is guided by you and your needs.
I am LGBTQ+ affirmative and feel strongly about supporting members of this community, using my knowledge, training and understanding to do so.
I encourage a free brief phone call to arrange an initial appointment.
The initial in-person appointment will be a 50 minute consultation to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and talk about your previous experiences, life history and expectations of therapy.
If it feels like a good 'fit' and you wish to progress, we will meet weekly on the same day, at a set time. Sessions are 50 minutes and based in the Brighton and Hove area.
