"I provide a safe, confidential and empathic space, where together we can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences."
I am a qualified BACP-registered psychodynamic counsellor, working in Worthing and Hove. Over several years of clinical practice, I have specialised in assisting clients with complex relationship difficulties, feelings of anxiety, depression and significant life transitions, providing a dedicated space to explore and resolve various forms of psychological distress.
I offer you the space to be heard in a confidential, safe and empathic way and gently encourage exploration of both present and past experiences, at your pace. I place the therapeutic relationship at the heart of our work, providing a unique environment where we can observe and understand your relational patterns as they unfold in real-time. Through working together to make meaning of your experiences, it is possible to let go of coping mechanisms that no longer serve you and make lasting change.

I will support you in a compassionate non-judgemental way to help you make the changes you want in your life. Reaching out for counselling can feel hard, but I offer open-ended or shorter-term therapy. This is guided by you and your needs.
I am LGBTQ+ affirmative and feel strongly about supporting members of this community, using my knowledge, training and understanding to do so.
I encourage a free brief phone call to arrange an initial appointment.
The initial in-person appointment is a 50 minute consultation to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and talk about your previous experiences, life history and expectations of therapy.
If it feels like a good 'fit' and you wish to progress, we will meet weekly on the same day, at a set time. Sessions are 50 minutes and based in either Worthing or Hove.
